It's is the bad guys who help define the hero of the story, better the bad guy better the hero to fight said bad guy. The actor who plays the arch villain"and he is an ch villain" in this does a great job, coming off as a psycho with layers of depth. This episode showed his dependency on Gyver, his need to push the fact he is evil and ruthless and his warped sense of family. You could catch a glimpse of maybe heart and caring for his son, but are still left with doubt as to if it is what it is or is it just another layer of him using them.
